Sunshine Classic | Stoke Park
Sunshine Classic
The Society’s premier event of the year was held once again at Stoke Park on a glorious Summer’s day. As always a terrific turn-out ensured a memorable day with great golf, great entertainment and great camaraderie. 22 teams entered the golf with Graham Lindsay’s Lloyds Bank team proving the winners. Hot on their heels were teams led by Allan Wells and Warren Clarke. Warren deserves special mention for agreeing to wear a set of John Daly golf kit and raising an additional £1,500 for the Charity. Leading celebrity on the day was ex stuntman Rocky Taylor who along with other winners received a magnificent prize donated by Mont Blanc.

5 Sunshine Coaches were presented on the day with huge thanks to sponsors The Premier League, The McGinley Group and John Griffin. The schools came from all around the M25 to receive their new transport and all left in high good humour.

The dinner and cabaret were a great success rounding off an excellent day. Great food and wine were followed by a cabaret featuring Mitch Benn and the hilarious Paul Boardman. After dinner was all down hill as the disco, karaoke and bar took over. Another resounding success with great plaudits due to Alfie Ezekiel and his committee.
