Jimmy Tarbuck welcomed members to Coombe Hill on a cold but bright morning. Once again the weather and the course were perfect for October and all attending were able to enjoy a wonderful day. Coombe is always an excellent challenge for the golfer with its tricky and quick greens and the undulating fairways. This year was no different with none of the field really able to master the course. Division 1 was won by David Harris with 32 points closely followed by past Captain Ian Irving and Chairman Tom Hilliard. Division 2 was won by Coombe member David Shefras who scored 35 points beating Mike Morrison and Tarby who both had 32 points. At dinner Jimmy thanked all the members for their support and Neil Bookatz (once again standing in for absentee brother, Stuart) took the plaudits for sponsoring the event.
