Generals Day | Kingswood Golf Club
Our annual match against the British Army Generals resulted in a resounding 8 – 1 win for Variety Club.  We have now won this very popular match for the last 11 years much to the chagrin of the Generals. As always, Kingswood looked after us superbly both on and off the course. The course was in superb condition with all the new trees adding hugely to the course.  Our dinner in the evening was quite wonderful with all agreeing we were spoilt ‘rotten’.

The golf match although very one-sided was enjoyed by all with the VC coming on strongly in the later holes to wrap up the match.  Our losing pair will remain nameless!  Adger Brown and David Redfearn entertained us in the evening and John Griffin ensured everyone got home safely by kindly organising a fleet of Addison Lee cars for the end of the day.
