Our annual match against a team representing the Chief Barker was played at Sandford Springs Golf Club in late September. This is the first time we have played at the course and we were not disappointed. The weather was glorious and the course was in great condition. The contrast between the 2 nines added interest to the golf and the clubhouse was most welcoming and friendly.
A strong showing from the Golf Society team saw us come out convincing winners by 6.5 points to 1.5. All rivalry was cast aside as we sat down to an excellent meal in the clubhouse.
