How You Can Help
The Golf Society has to compete with a vast array of charities to gain its share of the ‘pot’ and whilst we work very hard to establish beneficial links with donors and sponsors, we always welcome input from our membership.
There are a number of ways that you can help to increase the flow of money in to the charity:

Introduce new members who you believe will contribute to the Society.

Search out sponsors from your own contacts who might be able to sponsor an event or make a contribution to an event or might even consider hosting an event of their own in conjunction with the Golf Society.

Talk to your own golf club and see if they would be prepared to hold an event at your club with all the proceeds going to Variety. (We could arrange for a celebrity to attend and present the prizes.)

Search out raffle prizes and auction items that we can use at the events over the year. We are very fortunate to have many items donated but all contributions will add enormously to the success of the day and to the funds raised.

Think creatively of other ways that you could raise money – sponsored run between golf courses, greatest number of balls hit in an hour, etc.

Discuss all ideas with the Society and let’s see how working together, we can gather more funds.
