At the end of 2009 I presented 2 Sunshine Coaches to 2 very different but very worthy schools. St. Dominics in Surrey looks after around 80 children all with severe learning difficulties. Jimmy Tarbuck and David Redfearn came along to meet the kids – David showed them some of his magic and Jimmy presented the keys to the Headmistress. We were presented with a giant ‘thank you’ card made by the kids.
In December I presented a coach in Hereford to a school with just 54 children with extreme physical and mental problems. The school was astounding and I came away full of admiration for the work of the staff. The kids gave us an extract form their Xmas play and Father Christmas appeared from inside the coach when I opened it up. The kids went wild!
